Passion for Saving Soul

“The works of the Lord are great, sought out by all who have pleasure in them.” Psalms 111:2 MEV

I really believe in this verse! Truly in those who have had a true experience with God, in those who are born of God and in those who have the Holy Spirit, was placed a desire inside to seek & most importantly do the Lord’s works.

These people don’t ignore this desire, they cultivate and act upon it, because they know the pleasure they get from doing it doesn’t come from man, it comes directly from God; also they know that God sees their efforts & their reward will come from Him.

With that being said I invite you all to attend my church’s Good Friday mega event @ 3pm. If you are in London there are many branches to pick from by clicking on this link; but i’ll love for you to attend my branch in:

UCKG Edmonton
6 Sterling Way (above Lidl)

London

I can speak for myself that indeed doing His works i.e. Visits to the hospital & homes, Evangalism, Healing the sick, Encouraging the poor in spirit etc… are GREAT as the bible says, because God Himself is GREAT and everything associated with Him is GREAT i.e. the Sun, the other Stars, the Moon, the Earth, Joy, Happiness, Laughter, Humans and Animals etc…

Personally, I don’t need a man or a spiritual authority to tell me to do His works, it’s this desire that He placed inside of me that ALWAYS drives me to think, “What can I do to execute God’s works more effectively today?”

This is the importance of seeking to have a true encounter/experience with God, because without it, this desire will never be placed inside. I can also confirm that until I had my experience with God, there was no real desire for God’s work, everything I did was forced & a burden.

The Overwhelming Pressure Of LUST

Now David’s son Absalom had a beautiful sister named Tamar. And Amnon, her half brother, fell desperately in love with her. Amnon became so obsessed with Tamar that he became ill. She was a virgin, and Amnon thought he could never have her. 2 Samuel 13:1-2 NLT

Amnon here faced a situation that MANY, if not ALL of us have experienced once upon a time; a strong attraction or in blunt terms, LUST for someone who is out of our reach. It wasn’t rational for him to desire his half sister, full stop.

Let’s see what he ended up doing:

But Amnon had a very crafty friend—his cousin Jonadab. He was the son of David’s brother Shimea. One day Jonadab said to Amnon, “What’s the trouble? Why should the son of a king look so dejected morning after morning?” So Amnon told him, “I am in love with Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.”

“Well,” Jonadab said, “I’ll tell you what to do. Go back to bed and pretend you are ill. When your father comes to see you, ask him to let Tamar come and prepare some food for you. Tell him you’ll feel better if she prepares it as you watch and feeds you with her own hands.” So Amnon lay down and pretended to be sick. 2 Samuel 13:3-6 NLT

It’s interesting to see that the same spirit that worked all those years ago, using Jonadab (family/friends) to “advise/suggest” a solution, still works today. What’s the most frustrating part of all is what Amnon did:

Then he said to Tamar, “Now bring the food into my bedroom and feed it to me here.” So Tamar took his favorite dish to him. But as she was feeding him, he grabbed her and demanded, “Come to bed with me, my darling sister. No, my brother!” she cried. “Don’t be foolish! Don’t do this to me! Such wicked things aren’t done in Israel. Where could I go in my shame? And you would be called one of the greatest fools in Israel. Please, just speak to the king about it, and he will let you marry me.”

But Amnon wouldn’t listen to her, and since he was stronger than she was, he raped her. Then suddenly Amnon’s love turned to hate, and he hated her even more than he had loved her. “Get out of here!” he snarled at her. “No, no!” Tamar cried. “Sending me away now is worse than what you’ve already done to me.” But Amnon wouldn’t listen to her. He shouted for his servant and demanded, “Throw this woman out, and lock the door behind her!” 2 Samuel 13:10-17 NLT

Now, was Amnon REALLY in love with Tamar? Was the “advice/suggestion” of Jonadeb REALLY coming from a place of good intention?

As Christians and believers, we must realise the difference between the love God created and the lust created by the devil; because MANY believers since the creation of the human race have fallen and done disastrous things to jeopardise there salvation due to lack of understanding.

Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love flaunts not itself and is not puffed up, does not behave itself improperly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;  rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails. I Corinthians 13:4-8 MEV

Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. I John 4:8 MEV

  • Love is patient; Lust rushes things.
  • Love cares; Lust despises.
  • Love doesn’t end; Lust is short lived.
  • Love is rational actions; Lust is emotional actions.

Inevitable Hurdles

Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. In the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem. Ezra 4:4-6 NKJV

When you have a chance, go and meditate over the Book of Ezra. Here we have the inevitable reaction of the devil and his demons, through people, that don’t want us to excel, succeed and above all, do the Work of God.

The moment God inspire a person/people to do something that will exalt Him, the devil is swift to get involved. Here he used the Samaritan (after there help was respectfully declined by the Israelites) to discourage, frustrate, persecute, slander and consequently cease the building of the Second Temple of God for about 16 years.

How does that apply to us nowadays?

Every time God inspires us with a dream, how quickly does the devil bombard us with many words and thoughts of doubts? He use friends, family, celebrities, feelings, science, the media etc… to discourage us; he usually does this right at the beginning stage of the process to effectively kill the dream before it has even begun. What’s more of a shame is when we have actually started but we give up due to the hurdles placed before us by satan.

Understand this: there will always be hurdles in you way to reach your destination. Successful people didn’t become a success by not having hurdles in front of them; they became a success by overcoming them.

Didn’t the second temple get built eventually and God’s prophecy and purpose get fulfilled in the end?

Here I am to appeal to your reason, your intelligence and above all your faith:

  1. Is God ever wrong?
  2. Do you really think He is capable of making mistakes?
  3. Did He give you this dream just for fun and for you to just think about it but not take actions?

Remember what He spoke through Wise King Solomon & the Apostle Paul:

Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride. Ecclesiastes 7:8 NLT;

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT

Feelings!? What’s That!!

Think Faith!!

God Bless You

1 Reason Why People Disrespect God

You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach not to steal, do you steal? You who say not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? As it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.Romans 2:21-24 MEV

I was meditating on this and thought to myself, How many people who claim to be a ‘Christian’ are living a lie, not living by faith and misrepresenting God? There are too many! Many of them don’t realise (although some do) that they are 1 of the reasons that people don’t want to believe in God.

Unbelievers look at the bad example of the person, they look at their life and think to themselves:

“Is this the life your God has on offer for those who believe in Him?”

“How is it that your God claims to heal and yet you are still sick?”

“Why is it that you’re facing this injustice and you’re sitting there waiting on your God to provide?”

“Your God doesn’t seem reliable!”

And the list of comments continues. What a shame to be consider a person that makes people DOUBT the God of the bible. As a true Christian, the person cannot allow God to be blasphemed, misrepresented or doubted by the unbelievers.

And how do we do this?

By living everyday in faith, obeying the directions from God and demanding the Lord Jesus to show Himself in full power through our life.

I pray that the Holy Spirit has opened your mind and you have accepted this truth!

Intelligent Faith Explained – Part 2

Mind Use It

And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 MEV

What is intelligent faith?

Intelligent = Taking into account what God has said and promised in the Bible, then believing in it above ALL other words, knowledge and situations in the world. Using your brain and not your heart. Your faith and not emotions.

Faith = A personal relationship consisting of acts of sacrifice, commitment and submission to Him DAILY; which in turn will provide an innate assurance/conviction (not a feeling), which comes from God exclusively, that He exists and rewards those who prove they love Him by obeying His directions. Believing without seeing.

cropped-courage-over-fear_13031172_s.jpg

Our God-given common sense (although I call it rare sense nowadays) helps us to take a step back from our problems & life to assess it the situation, look at the God we claim to have a relationship with, look at what His Words claim He IS and CAN do, and then react with intelligent faith against the devil and his demons that are trying to rob us of the Promises and Life He spoke of.

For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.Ephesians 6:12 MEV

React with an intelligent faith to demand and claim from God what He promised to those who have a relationship with Him. It’s to assess our lives based on what the Bible says, whether we fully understand it or not.

…test Me now in this…Malachi 3:10 MEV

Sacrifice is the PRICE to get the benefits of Intelligent Faith.

One final thing

It’s important that we seek to understand the original meaning of certain key words used in the bible, i.e. Love, Sacrifice or Believe. These key word’s original meanings, holds more weight than it’s current meaning.

The truth is that it’s meaning has been diluted over time and many people (including myself) have been lead to think they are obeying God properly, when we haven’t, simply due to a lack of understanding.

The following bible verse comes to mind:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from being My priest… Hosea 4:6 MEV

God is with you, believe that!

My Conduct/Actions Is Much More Effective

Actions

Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. I Peter 3:1-2 NKJV

This verse applies to everyone!

To speak about God, anyone can do, even the devil and his servants; but to be a true example in our conduct and behavior, not everyone can do it. It’s way more effective, actions speak louder than any words.

If I want my family and friends to be saved, I must be saved first; then through my conduct and behaviour, show Jesus. Real strength is to be obedient & do the right thing always.

Now examine yourself. God Bless!

Intelligent Faith Explained – Part 1

Mind Use It

And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 MEV

What is intelligent faith?

In Theory:

While meditating on His Words (the Bible) making a sincere effort to UNDERSTANDING who He is and what He can do, above all other knowledge.

For example:

He cannot LIE – Numbers 23:19 & Hebrews 6:18

He forgives and forgets our sins – Isaiah 43:25 & Hebrew 8:12

He is a healer – Exodus 15:26 & 1 Peter 2:24

He delivers us from demons and their works – Psalms 34:27 & Mark 1:24-26

He provides an abundant life – Jeremiah 29:11 & John 10:10

Bible

In Practice:

After understanding who He is and what He can do, BELIEVING through ACTIONS, above all other prior knowledge, who God IS and can do.

For Example:

Obey His words/directions – Joshua 6 & Luke 5:4-6

Confessing your sins to Him – Proverb 28:13 & 1 John 1:19

Giving an offering – Malachi 3:8-12 & Luke 6:38

Working smart to receive a life more abundant – Ecclesiastes 11:4-6 & 2 Corinthians 9:6

Rebuking the devil – Luke 10:18-19 & James 4:7

Now if you really believe and are serious about having a relationship with God, you will take your time to go and meditate on all of these bible verses before reading part 2 of this post, when it comes.

Trusting Someone With That “Thing”

MA-image-1-18-16

If Your Not Already, How About Following My Blog! Get The Updates, Maybe Reblog My Posts On Your Page & Share Them! You Won’t Regret It =D

In This Post, I Refer To The Word “Thing” A Lot. The “Thing” Is Whatever U Make It Out To Be, Whether It’s Something Valuable Or Not…

Humanly speaking, when we place a “Thing” into someone’s hands, we give them rule over it; we turnover our exclusive and total authority. Correct?

This means the person we give it to, either forever or for a period of time, become the sole controller/authority over that “Thing”, and how they handle that “Thing”. Yes or No?

The original owner now loses their exclusive authority over the handling of that “Thing”, which means they are now suppose to let the new owner/authority handle the “Thing” as they please, and trust that they will take care of the “Thing” properly.

authority-site-1024x9882

Do you see yourself worried or anxious? This is normal, within reason, as we will all naturally think our handling of the “Thing” is the best and any other way is risky. However, if your constantly feeling like this, this shows that you don’t really trust that person with that “Thing”, and their ability to handle the “Thing” accordingly.

If that’s the case, why give that “Thing” over to them in the first place? You could save yourself the hassle and stress if you kept it in your hands. If you see yourself constantly having to tell them what to do, it means that either they are not ready and mature enough to handle the “Thing” or your not ready to trust them with that “Thing”.

You shouldn’t give an important “Thing” to someone you didn’t trust could handle it! This is rare sense.

Handing over keys on blue sky

But the truth is, in most cases, your giving that “Thing” over because you have seen somehow that that person can handle your “Thing” and get the job done, so let them be! Once you have given it over, use your reason and remind yourself of this, stop being emotional by still trying to control the “Thing” once you’ve given it over.

Especially if the being your handing over that “Thing” to is GOD.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding…” Proverbs 3:5 NKJV

This Is What God Revealed To Me Recently. It’s Easier Said Than Done, I Know! But It’s The Intelligent Thing To Do. May God Give U Strength To Trust Him.

The 10 Values Of Faith || #10 Love

values_1

Good Afternoon All! It’s Here, The Final Installment To The Values Of Faith Series, I Encourage U To Go Back Over Them From Time To Time To Recap In The Future & Of Course, Don’t Be Selfish, Share These Encouraging Posts With Others. Now Let’s Finalize…

To be in faith is to be sincere with yourself, God and others, especially when it comes to acknowledging your mistakes or asking for help.

To put in to perspective, to be in faith is to eliminate the feelings of fear, doubts, angers, grudge, worries etc… and hold tight onto courage, belief, happiness, forgiveness and certainty. It’s easier said than done but it is possible, just ask anyone who is successful in their respective field of work.

So relating it to God, always remember what it says in the Holy Bible:

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

Faith has everything to do with reason, with emotions following behind (not leading, but following). We have learnt that the 1st attribute of faith is A Good Conscience, the 2nd attribute is Honesty, the 3rd attribute is Justice, the 4th attribute is Truth, the 5th attribute is Sincerity, the 6th attribute is Faithfulness, the 7th attribute is Honour, the 8th attribute is Discipline and the 9th attribute is Self-Respect.

Hmmm I wonder what the last value is:

10. LOVE

il_570xN.577018324_rx91

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. I John 4:8 NKJV

But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. Luke 6:32 NKJV

Throughout this series, I have stressing the key fact about faith, that it has everything to do with a person’s reason. Emotion are deceitful and highly unstable, so God doesn’t expect us to live by emotions, but by faith (reason).

The concept of love is a sensitive subject, with many having their own conclusion and belief on what it is about and if it is a feeling or not etc… But i’m here to tell you that love, as described in the bible is God Himself.

And if you meditate on the bible and see the times in which God manifested Himself, whether it was through a miracle, through a sign, when instructing His servants, when performing His righteous justice & through the Lord Jesus Himself, it was always done via love.

This love wasn’t emotional, think about it, if God’s love was emotional, do you think he would have ever sent the Lord Jesus to die for the sins of the world? OF COURSE! If anything He would send a destroyer to eliminate all those people who had disrespected, betrayed, blasphemed, lied and robbed Him, after all, they would have deserved it.

But as we all know:

For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV

This is LOVE! Taking actions in spite of how you may feel. When we show love to people, especially those who really test your patience and disrespect you or when you forgive that person who betrayed your trust or did something immensely evil to you, we are living by faith and above all pleasing God.

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV

It is very hard to practice love sometimes, I can’t lie even for me as a Christian, but it is not impossible. Only living be faith (reason) would some make such a sacrifice.

Faith in the God of the Bible || Advice for Women

One of the things I like most is to talk about my faith, but I don’t always talk about it directly. Every time I speak about love, I speak about my faith. Every time I speak about women valuing themselves, I speak about my faith. Every time I speak about clothes and looks, I speak about my faith. I can already see your curious faces: “What does one thing have to do with the other?”

Confused-Black-Woman

Everything! First of all, faith is not religion.

Unfortunately, there’s a certain culture in our society which states that if you believe in God you’re religious. What an enormous lie! Religiousness doesn’t allow you to think, you simply live within beliefs and that’s it. If your religion says that cows are holy then you treat cows as if they’re holy. You don’t question why the cow is holy, after all even that’s against your religion! You just don’t question why the cow is holy, nor try to understand, you simply follow. Well, well, well, that’s just an insult to my intelligence!

So what is it to have faith in God?

confused-woman-420x0

Faith in God is the following: I read the Bible and it says that you should forgive your enemies so that you can be forgiven too. So I forgive, and guess what happens? I truly feel forgiven of my mistakes! I don’t carry guilt, something that unfortunately many people carry today.

God makes me thousands of promises in the Bible, which in summary say: “If you follow Me, you’re going to be very happy in all the areas of your life, and on top of that, you’ll spend eternity with me.”

I believe in these promises, I follow and practice them, and guess what happens? I’m truly happy in every area of my life! And there’s more, I’m not afraid to die.

happy-woman

In other words, God promises and fulfills His words – EVERY TIME! Well, well, well… to have faith in God is just intelligent. So what does love, value, and beauty have to do with faith? God even talks about this in His Word! Hahaha!

Meditate on these verses:

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13 4-7

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10

As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a lovely woman who lacks discretion. Proverbs 11:2
