An Unshakable Faith

A certain city had been hard hit by severe drought. For months not a single drop of rain had fallen. The residents’ cattle were beginning to die and the once beautiful landscape was gradually turning into one of desolation.
One day a man appeared in the region claiming he could make it rain. He gathered together as many people as he could in the main town square and said:

“I talk to God. Together we can bring rain back to this city, except we all need to believe in the power of prayer. Invite as many people as you can to join me in a sunrise prayer tomorrow morning, at the city church, where we will pray for a plentiful, immediate rain. But only those with an unshakable faith should come.”

News spread quickly from house to house, and long before sunrise on the following day, large processions of people were making their way to the church from all over the city. When they arrived, they got on their knees and began to pray. Sunrise came and went, and the prayers continued for several hours, but there was no rain.

Then one of the people came up to the man who had claimed that he talked to God, and asked:

“We’ve been on our knees praying for hours now. Where is the rain?”

The man replied in a loud voice so that all would hear:

“Remember, I said only those with an unshakable faith should come, but that has not happened.”

“How can you say that?” protested a lady in the first pew of the church.

“We all got up early, came down here to the church, this place is packed with people and no one has stopped praying since we arrived.”

“Alright then,” said the man, “I want to see a show of hands of everyone who brought an umbrella with them this morning.”

Total silence. Then one by one people started to leave, only then realizing what an “unshakable faith” really meant. Only an unshakable faith in what you cannot see makes the impossible, possible.

But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:18 NKJV

Focus on the GOAL!

One of the main reasons why many people do not reach their goals is, they focus on what they need to sacrifice rather than the result they will get once they achieve such goals.

It is a daily and continuous exercise that requires practice, effort and commitment. Reason with me, what led you, at some point in life, to signup for the gym? The desire to lose weight? Toning your body? Losing that annoying belly?

Well, briefly apply this same principle to the great goals that you have or have had in life. When you signup to the gym, you have to spend money on registration, monthly payments and even on equipment, however, what we focus on is not the sacrifice, but beyond that, we look at the future benefits that we extract from this momentary sacrifice: health and good physical shape.

But when it comes to our dreams, why do we tend to only look at the sacrifice needed to be made? Because the investment is much higher and the result is not guaranteed. Because you’ve seen many who tried in the past and didn’t succeed. And because you always exercised your vision to only look at the obvious, and not towards a promising, happy and fulfilled future.

Can you see it now?

I Hate him; he Is Such A LIAR! || Part 2

I HATE HIM SO MUCH!

This world we live in would have been so different if only Adam & Eve used their INTELLIGENCE.

I mean, think with me, God gave them everything, He clearly showed & proved to them that He loved them and wanted what was best for them. With this He only had one request, an intelligent request, for them not to touch the fruit from one tree in the whole of the garden – just like God orders Christian nowadays to not touch our Tithe (which is the FIRST 10% of our income, the rest of the 90% is all ours) but return it to Him at church.

But stupidly, when the serpent(satan) came to Eve, she gave ears to his ultimate lie:

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Genesis 3:4-5 NKJV

What did Adam & Eve demonstrate here? When you don’t THINK, use your BRAIN, make use of REASON when making a decision, you will end up in TROUBLE! SIMPLE.

The truth is that Adam & Eve were victims of a massive LIE. If only they had used their heads, even for just ten seconds to realize these facts:

1. God gave them peace.

2. God gave them food in abundance.

3. God gave them life.

4. God gave them dominion.

5. God gave them a mind; to obviously use to make decisions & lead.

6. God gave them a heart to feel; not to think.

7. With God giving them all those 6 things, God gave them a COMPLETELY fulfilled life in the garden.

So if God gave them all of those attributes, didn’t He prove enough that He loved & cherishes them? and didn’t he clearly proved to them that there is a logical reason why He didn’t want them to touch the fruit of that one tree?

If only they did this, I’m sure that they would have not given heed to that lie & we all wouldn’t be in a world that is so backwards, full of lies & evil. Who is really to blame?

satan! (You may wonder why i don’t write the first letter of his name in capital, the truth is, I hate him so much, I don’t want to).

I Hate him; he Is Such A LIAR! || Part 1

I HATE HIM SO MUCH!

Have you ever sat down and thought to yourself: “Why is life so hard?” “I Wish I Could Have Just Been Born With Everything Sorted, With No Worries & No Stress!”

And my personal favorite:”I HATE being lied to!”

What is the main aim of lies? It’s simple, to deviate someone from the truth, from justice, from everlasting fulfillment.

I for one hate lies, and it’s funny because I once was a skilled liar, yet my character if you get to know me is one of a very honest and sincere person.

We are alive and all we all want to do in life is achieve what we were born to do and get there in the most smoothest way, but unfortunately, that is a dream that will never happen.

Why is that?

1. The earth is cursed

2. We are living in a world ruled and lead by lies.

YES OR NO? And whether you believe it or not, it all started in the Garden of Eden.

Yes, if you haven’t realized already, I believe in God, the Lord Jesus & the Bible. In Genesis, it talks about how God created Man & Woman, placed them in the garden, visited them daily so He could have a relationship with His creation, gave them authority & dominion over everything and all in all created them to be fulfilled in everything and lack nothing.

Now for those who are TRUE Christians, I’m sure just like me, when we get to Heaven, we are going to have a lot to say to Adam & Eve i.e. “WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO DISOBEY GOD’S ONE COMMANDMENT!!?” “HE GAVE YOU EVERYTHING; YET YOU CHOSE TO DISOBEY HIM!” etc…

But the fact of the matter is that, there is one entity, one loser, one ultra reject, one selfish thing that is to blame! We hear him everyday, no matter where you are in this world, he is the one that tell you that you can’t achieve your dreams, that you are worthless, that God won’t forgive you, that God doesn’t exist, that you should go right when you know you should go left etc… The father of all lies… satan himself, KMT!

When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44 NKJV

God’s Enough || The Holy Spirit

It’s the story of your life, my life and the life of millions who live in this world. When we finally obtain what we’ve wanted for so long, it turns out not being enough… but my search only ended when I desired to have the “ENOUGH” Himself.

And He said to me, ’My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness’. 2 Corinthians 12.9

How many have good health, parties, fame, travels, family, expensive jewelry, diplomas, political influence, money, but nothing seems to be enough for them? Millions, billions… it’s as if their life is a constant search, from what seems to be “enough” to something else that’s “enough”…until nothing they have appeases this insatiable desire.

But if nothing is ever enough, or sufficient, in your life it’s because you lack God’s ENOUGH. His ENOUGH goes beyond problem solving, achieving objectives and the fulfilling of dreams. Do you know what His ENOUGH is? No? It’s the Holy Spirit!

But why does this happen? Because only God’s GRACE IS ENOUGH.

So, what is God’s grace? His Grace is the Holy Spirit, the One who Perfects Himself in our weaknesses, in order to make us strong so that we may stand and prevail.

Now we understand why, even when we have good health, a home, money, family, or even the world at our feet, it’s just not enough … we understand why there are so many people who seem to have “everything”, but none of it is ever sufficient or enough for them. Why? Because they don’t have God’s ENOUGH – the Holy Spirit.

God’s ENOUGH is all we need to be truly happy and complete. It’s the starting point for everything in life. If you have His ENOUGH, everything else becomes a bonus, a mere addition, not a main objective, because you’ve already achieved what’s Most Important!

Throughout these 36 years, we’ve seen millions come to the UCKG with nothing, and today, because they were Baptized with the Holy Spirit, they have it all, overcome it all and conquer it all.

So, those who have God’s ENOUGH aren’t attracted to anything else, because they already have everything they need. They don’t fear anything because they’ve already overcome their worst enemies – their own self, the fear of death and the demons. The “world” tries to draw their attention, but it never attracts them, because they already have God’s ENOUGH.

To those who are looking for a definitive end to their anxiety, their lack of resolve, the shameful situation of their love life, family, work etc… there’s only one way, through God’s ENOUGH – the Holy Spirit. He makes us strong just as HE is STRONG.

I DON’T HAVE fame, money, experience, diplomas … but because I have His ENOUGH – HIS SPIRIT – I am 100% WEALTHY!!! What about you?

Leading by Fear or Faith?

There are two ways to make people do what you want them to:

1. Make them scared of you.

2. Make them have faith in you.

Whether that’s in relationships, business, sports, church, politics – and in any other place where you need the cooperation of others, normally one of these cultures prevails. Either people complete their tasks because their scared of the person or because they believe in them.

The boyfriend erases the call history on his phone or Internet browser, so that his girlfriend doesn’t see the inappropriate activity; The employee does more (or acts like it) when the boss is nearby; The athlete works hard at training so that his/her coach doesn’t hassle them.

The volunteer at church does his part, not so voluntarily, but because he’s dead if he doesn’t; The politician denigrates the opposing candidate to such an extent that when Election Day comes the people would rather vote for the devil than for him.

A leader who uses fear to lead does not have followers. He has survivors who reluctantly follow his orders, until they either revolt or find a better leader. The leader who inspires the people through his vision, purpose and an exemplary life has his followers in the palm of his hand.

The follower or survivor who does things out of fear should re-evaluate his motives. Yes, perhaps he has been conditioned by the culture of fear to act accordingly, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a choice.

The boyfriend can stop being afraid of his girlfriend’s reaction and start to have faith in their relationship, for example. If you believe that your relationship is more important than an inappropriate conversations with other women via Internet or the curse that is pornography(an unsatisfactory poison,) so then your behavior will change, not because of fear but because of intelligence.

And you’re the one who can decide this; the same applies in any situation. The truth is that those who act from fear are weak. Even the leader who imposes his regime of fear is a slave to it and fears losing his position. They’re insecure of themselves.

Better than the culture of fear is the culture of faith. Faith in yourself, faith in the merits of a mission or objective, faith in the good side of people, faith that God rewards those who are faithful to Him.

Try a culture change. But then of course, the culture of faith is only for the strong.

God Forbids US From Having Fear!

It may seem confusing, but it is a clear indication of the state of your faith. If having fear and being afraid was the same thing, it would mean that human beings have no control over their own lives whatsoever.

It´s inevitable to be afraid but having fear or not having it is optional.

There is a big difference between being afraid and having fear.

Those who chose to have fear do so because they doubt the God is with them.

Those who choose to have fear do it because they don’t believe that God is with them.

Fear hinders a person from being who he/she really is however revolt makes a person become who he/she should be.

Let’s find out together if what I’m saying is true:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41.10)

Now you know why God forbids those who say they believe in Him from having fear. Feeling is inevitable, but having is optional.

If you have been having fear, unfortunately, it’s because you have doubted that God is with you, and if you doubt such a thing, then, it is because you are not walking hand in hand with the righteous right hand of God.

Please stop and reflect on your actions and reactions when facing circumstances and feelings.
