Hello Reader, Your Welcome To My Blog =] The Moral Of This Story Is: Don’t Look Back, Your Not Going That Way…

Lot, his wife and his two daughters were warned to leave quickly from Sodom. The angel of God warned them not to look back. Lot and his daughters obeyed, but Lot’s wife did not. Driven by curiosity and the lack of fear for the word of the angel of God, she looked back.

Her disobedience cost her life: she became a pillar of salt.

Why did she insist on disobeying the Word of the Lord? Because she did not believe in punishment. She thought that because she was Lot’s wife, the nephew of God’s friend, and the mother of his daughters, nothing would happen to her. For the sake of truth, most evangelical believers find themselves in the same situation. They believe in God’s love, compassion, mercy and consideration, but do not believe in His Justice. They think the Lord will soften the rigor of His Word regarding their disobedience. This was also how Lot’s wife thought.

Those who are rebellious forget that disobedience is clear evidence of the lack of faith in the Word. Therefore, they are true pillars of salt inside and outside the church. If it is impossible to please God without faith, how do they think they’ll inherit the Kingdom of Heaven? Abraham was not God’s friend because he built altars and sacrificed, but because he obeyed Him.

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called… Hebrews 11.8

Jesus encourages us to remember Lot’s wife not only to warn us not to look back, but also not to rely on someone else to get into Heaven; having a good relationship with one of God’s loved ones will not influence Him to deliver us from death when we insist on being disobedient. The friends of the world disobey God to please the world; the enemies of the world turn away from it to obey the Eternal. This is why, “in that night of the coming of the Son of Man one will be taken and the other left.”

The devil & his demons

The devil and his demons are fallen angels, who due to bitterness, anger & shame of them being cast out of heaven seek to torment and afflict God’s creation, human beings.

They attack us by using various tools of evil: diseases, poverty, injustices, selfishness, pride, temptation, anger, unfaithfulness, unhappiness etc… Human beings are the main target of the the devil and his demons, because we were created in the image and likeness of God.

Lead by hate, jealousy, envy and anger, satan and his unclean spirit crave to get hold of the man and influence us, so that they can achieve two main objectives: to push us as far away from God as possible and possess the human body to be able to express themselves in the physical world.

The Bible describes satan as the leader of the demons. He was a expelled angel from heaven, created by God for a noble mission, and was anointed as “cherub”, being the head of the other angels and having access to God’s presence. He was so beautiful that was called Lucifer, which means full of light.

Was covered with precious stones. In the glow of the stones, let the shadow of their shining; beauty and wisdom made him perfect. However, one day iniquity was found in him. Pride rose up in his heart and longed to be like God; wanted to take the position of the Creator – his Creator – and take His place. For this, had no difficulty in finding a following among the other angels (sheep, weak minded, followers).

They fought a battle that was lost from the beginning, so Lucifer and rebellious angels were all banished forever from God. This is when all sense of kindness, love, peace and kindness that was in them naturally, was pushed aside to make room for hatred, anger, bitterness, pride and evil. Today, they are seeking to destroy all that is of God and use the bodies of human beings to carry out their evil intentions.

They can enter all people who are without Jesus. They make that person body their house. They will take pleasure in causing suffering in the life of they possessed and even more pleasure in using that person to destroy other people’s lives. Addictions, lies, unfaithfulness, selfishness, gambling, fornication, crime, theft and everything else that goes against the character of God are common practices to demons.

Thanks to God through Jesus Christ, He conquered our freedom from satan and his unclean spirit, when He said on the cross “IT IS FINISHED!” (John 19:30). He gave us the condition, in His name, to rebuke the devil and his demon and overcome this world. Those who reject God’s sovereignty through the Lord Jesus are easy prey for demonic spirits, but those seeking to break free of the devil’s claws have in Jesus the certainty of victory.

Now, you can be free from satan. Just like I was set free from his character, influences and dictatorship. That’s if you seek your deliverance from the Lord Jesus, sincerely and with all your faith. Seek your freedom NOW, your entitled to it.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NLT

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36 NKJV

The Faith That Moved Abraham

Hellllo Err’body! It’s been awhile I know, I’m in the final month of my university degree and I have been so busy I haven’t been able to post. Please forgive me for neglecting y’all. Today’s post is from the blog of the head Bishop of my church, I was inspired and helped by it & I believe you an too…

Abraham believed for a long time, even when there was no longer any hope of seeing his dream come true, to then be able to become the father of faith and God’s friend. Not only did he have a son, but millions, just like he was told:

“So shall your descendants be. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” Romans 4.18-21

Those who are of the faith are guided by what they cannot see, not by what they can see.
If Abraham focused on the circumstances, he would certainly have become discouraged, just like any other person would. He had many reasons to feel like that. Nothing was working in his favor. He was no longer a young man married to a sterile woman, but an old man married to an old sterile woman.

Those who have a supernatural faith submit their natural plans to spiritual plans. Everything that is heavenly is above whatever is worldly, and the spiritual is above the material. Those who look to the difficulties become discouraged and lose the vision of God.

Abraham’s secret was that his faith was 100% immersed in God’s Word. This is why he did not become weak! The years he waited did not overcome him, and his and Sarah’s physical conditions did not cause him to doubt what is most sublime and precious: the Word that was given to us!

Nothing in the universe is compared to the Word of God Almighty. It is sovereign in Heaven and on Earth! Nothing can stop it! There is no force or power that can oppose it. It is God Himself materialized. Where it goes, darkness dissipates and the impossible happens.

Abraham knew this! He had full conviction that the Almighty’s Promise would be fulfilled. The time required for this to happen did not matter. He believed, and that was enough to sustain him day after day and year after year. His decisions were not understood by others. He seemed crazy! Exchanging the certain for the doubtful is not something that can be understood by those who have not received the revelation of supernatural faith.

But Abraham was different! His faith made him special among that generation. Physical eyes look for something physical as a reference, but spiritual eyes, which are of the faith, look to the invisible and persevere until the Promise is fulfilled.
