Chosen To Be A Column

A servant of God has two important concerns: First, with respect to the salvation of his soul. Second, with respect to the salvation of others.

With respect to his own salvation, he cares for it as if it were the apple of his eye. It is his immeasurable and eternal treasure bestowed by the Holy Spirit.

With respect to the salvation of others, he throws his all into it—body, soul, and spirit—because he understands that it is a mission given by the Holy Spirit Himself.

When we care for our own salvation with the same dedication that we use for our physical body, we are showing respect and fear for the LORD that won it on Calvary.

The opposite applies when we are careless with our salvation—this shows that we are careless with respect to everything that the Lord Jesus suffered for us on Calvary.

It is no different when it come to the salvation of others. We were chosen out of billions of people to serve our Lord and Savior.

Taking what we have received from the Almighty and sharing it with the lost is a privilege that only a few enjoy. We were chosen to be columns in the construction of the Eternal Sanctuary in each person.

If we lose our focus as servants and seek our own benefit in this mission, we will lose the vision we have received—and will lose the goal of our mission.

This is why many who rose to the top and conquered the world, have now fallen, lost everything, and are confused.

While we serve the One that elected us, we will enjoy success, but when we have second thoughts about our “insignificant” state as servants and long to be served, we will lose…

We lose the lofty privilege of being columns in the Almighty’s Sanctuary. But worst of all, we lose the salvation of our souls.

What is more glorious, rich, and deserving of respect than serving the Almighty?

Serve Him.

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?  Romans 9:20-21

What’s Within Will Effect Your Environment

According to a folk legend of the East, a young man came to the edge of an oasis, near a village and he came to an old man and asked him,

“What kind of people live in this place?”

“What kind of person lives in the place where you come from?” asked the old man.

“Oh! A group of selfish and evil people. I’m glad to be out of there.”

The old man replied, “It is the same kind people you will find out here.”

On the same day, another young man approached the oasis drinking water and upon seeing the old man, he asked him:

“What kind of people live here?”

“What kind of people live in the place where you come from?” asked the old man.

“A magnificent group of people, friendly, honest, hospitable. I was very sad to have to leave them.”

“It’s the same kind people you will find out here.” Replied the old man.

A man who had overheard both conversations asked the old man:
“How can you give such a different answer to the same question?”

The old man replied,

“Each carries in his heart the environment in which they live. He who has found anything good to put in the places where he resides now,
cannot find something else to put there but that. He who has found friends there, also find them here.
We are all travelers in time and the future of each of us is written in the past.

In other words, each finds in life exactly what they bring within themselves. The environment, the present and the future we create, depends on ourselves. The difference between enthusiastic people and bitter people is not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of willingness.”

The 5 Purposes Of A Pencil/Person

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 80

One day, the pencil maker was talking to his pencils before putting them into the box. He said to each one of them:

“There are five things you need to know before I
send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and
you will become the best pencil you can be.

1. You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow
yourself to be held in someone’s hand.

2. You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but
you’ll need it to become a better pencil.

3. You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

4. The most important part of you will always be what’s inside.

5. On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No
matter what the condition, you must continue to write.”

The pencils understood their purpose and promised to remember their maker’s words, and got into the box.

We are like a pencil. The Creator made us for a purpose. The question is, have we understood our purpose in life?

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NKJV

Dreaming Starts With Believing In Yourself

Do you know someone who has succeeded without believing in themselves?

Didn’t think you did. Believing in yourself is essential, believing in the decisions and actions you take are vital. If the individuals do not believe in themselves, then who will? Research has shown that success is influenced by our way of thinking. Successful people believe that they can improve through their efforts, and have life goals that they can persevere to achieve.

When we focus our eyes on a successful person we don’t even imagine that it all started with one goal. When we meditate on what we want to become involved in, we are able to face our own fears and accurately identify the changes that are necessary to get close to our goals. Some psychologists argue that motivation needs a conscious desire to get something.

Start making room for objectives, start taking actions and success will be a result. Their is a great saying:

“Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to achieve it. The time will pass anyways.”

The successful individuals do not devalue their dreams, in the contrary, they fight with all their strength so that those dreams become reality and even after they have reached their goal they continue dreaming and striving for more!

The Source & Secret To Becoming Prosperous/Stinking Rich

John D Rockefeller , Sr

The U.S. first billionaire said once in an interview:

Yes, I tithe, and I would like to tell you how it all came about. I had to begin work as a small boy to help support my mother. My first wages amounted to $1.50 per week. The first week after I went to work, I took the $1.50 home to my mother and she held the money in her lap and explained to me that she would be happy if I would give a tenth of it to the Lord.

I did, and from that week until this day I have tithed every dollar God has entrusted to me. And I want to say, if I had not tithed the first dollar I made I would not have tithed the first million dollars I made. Tell your readers to train the children to tithe, and they will grow up to be faithful stewards of the Lord.

Tan, P. L. (1996). Encyclopedia of 7700 Illustrations: Signs of the Times. Garland, TX

The bible says:

Now return to me, and I will return to you,” says theLord of Heaven’s Armies. But you ask, how can we return when we have never gone away? Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! But you ask, What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you? You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Malachi 3:7-12 NLT

He began tithing even as a child, and became the richest American in history & one of the richest men in the history of mankind through the business of petroleum. He came from a poor family and an absent father. But his mother taught him to put down a root of faithfulness, which still today brings prosperity to the Rockefeller family – his fortune when he died in 1937 was $340 billion, adjusted to today’s rates.

Being faithful upon little is a test of character. Before giving much to someone, you test that person’s character by observing how he or she behaves when in charge of little.

The master was full of praise. Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! Matthew 25:21 NLT

Just as God gave oil to Rockefeller, He wants to give sources of wealth to His children. There are many treasures yet to be discovered, millionaire ideas, opportunities… Of course, God is hoping to find faithful and diligent servants whom He can give them to, before they fall into other hands.

Tithing to God is our duty as Christians, He owns everything anyways, we ain’t taking anything with us when we die. Many so called Christians are guilty of not tithing or not doing it properly. Maybe your church doesn’t stress the importance of it enough.

The Israelites in the bible including King Solomon tithed, look at most of their financial life. Rockefeller tithed, look at his financial empire. I’m sure there are many example in this day and age too. I Promise you my financial life will be a testimony as well.

God Made You; God Made Your Dream.

There is a sense of satisfaction that sets in when we hope to achieve what God has made us dream about. Yes, God made you and makes you dream, and it’s this same dream that gives you hope to continue and never consider giving up.

How do human beings that have no dreams behave? They’re hopeless and depressed!

Now, how about a hopeful human being? They have dreams and motivation!

God gave you dreams in order to give you hope! Yes, hope that your dreams will become a reality. For this you need to have Him as your Instructor, so you may be filled with joy, whatever may happen! For example, I can hope to get married, but I shouldn’t depend on that to have peace, joy, or a reason to live, as I already have a reason before even making the decision to get married.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all Joy and Peace… Romans 15:13 NKJV

dream it den do it

So this Joy and True Peace come regardless of having achieved, or not, what you most desire. But because you have hope, you will surely achieve it! “Will I only have hope when I achieve what I want?”. No! If you have God, who is Hope Himself, then you already have Joy and Peace even before reaching your goal. So, imagine what happens next?

…in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NKJV

So, the Power of God will manifest itself, because you believe, and seek to serve the God of Hope, Joy and Peace, regardless of whether or not you achieved your goal! But God’s Word says that this only happens through “our belief in Him”! We must believe in Him and the time is NOW!

Whoever believes in the Power of God has Joy and Peace. When they reach their goal, it’s to enjoy and glorify God through it. God fulfilled you so that you may glorify Him through your testimony and enjoy your victory!

God wants you to be rich in hope. And what is a rich person? Is it in how they act, walk or smile? A rich person is someone who is filled with hope and full of confidence. Someone that has peace, joy and is full of God’s Wealth and Power of the Holy Spirit.

I Can
