Two Types Of People In The World

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who are born of the world and those who are born of the Spirit of God.

Those who are born of the world possess the spirit of the world; while those who are born of God possess the Spirit of God.

The children of the world hate the children of God because they are possessed by the spirit of the world.

Jesus said:

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. John 15.18 NKJV

This hatred only exists because they are children of the world, children of Satan.

Is it possible for a person that is born of the Holy Spirit to hate someone else?

They may get angry under certain circumstances, but never, ever, at no point in time hate another person.

Christian hate what happens in regards to injustices and sins. Never to another person.

Hate towards another person only exists because of the presence of Satan;

Though we are hated by the children of the world, what comforts us is the conviction that:

1. We are not of the world;

If you were of the world, the world would love its own…

2. We were chosen from this world by the Lord Jesus Himself.

Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:18-19 NKJV

Only those who have the Spirit of God are sure that they were separated from the world.

God Bless

Offering(YOU) On The Altar

This post was written by a couple of Bishops from my church, it adds onto the post I did a few weeks ago about the offering God accepts & rejects:

I think there is a certain difference between prayers, although a prayer is still a prayer and the person is speaking with God. However, we see that there are different results.

So, if there is a difference in prayers, there is also a difference in the answers. They can be big or small, and God will still be glorified in both. However, He is more glorified when the answers are extraordinary, since they reflect His greatness, and this has to do with FAITH.

Even though your faith may be small, its power is above any problem, even if it seems impossible. The Lord Jesus is the Author of this faith. Everyone has faith, but not everyone uses it. Of course, an extraordinary answer requires complete surrender, which leads a person to go against everyone and everything, because of a conviction he has within himself.

Solomon had this conviction, this is why his faith led him to put his whole life on that Altar, because those 142,000 holocausts and sacrifices represented everything that was in him. When God looked at those sacrifices, He did not see animals, He saw Solomon himself on the altar.

Solomon only prayed after offering his sacrifices. At that moment, everything pleased God, to the point where the Glory of God filled the Temple.

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house. 2 Chronicles 7.1-2 NKJV

Solomon received an extraordinary answer, and God was glorified in a big way. The question is: Is everyone willing to put ALL OF THEIR LIFE ON THE ALTAR, like Solomon did?

Bishop Miguel Lacerda & Bishop Romualdo Panceiro

The question is: Does your offering/sacrifice represent YOU?

Good Luck, Bad Luck, Who Knows?

An old farmer had an old horse for tilling his field. One day the horse escaped into the hills, when all the farmer’s neighbours heard, they sympathised with him over his bad luck, the farmer replied, “Bad luck, Good luck, Who knows?”

A week later the horse returned with a herd of wild horses from the hills, so this time the neighbours congratulated the farmer on his good luck. His reply was, “Good luck, Bad luck, Who knows?”

Then, when the farmer’s son attempted to tame one of the wild horses, he fell off its back and broke his leg. Everyone thought this was very bad luck, except the farmer, whose only reaction was, “Bad luck, Good luck, Who knows?”

Some weeks later, the army marched into the village and conscripted every able bodied youth they found. When they saw the farmer’s son with his broken leg, they let him off.

Now was that Good luck, Bad luck? Who knows?

Those who live by faith don’t live life waiting for good luck or blaming bad luck in times of difficulty. They exercise the gift God gave every human being to bring into existence their goals and dreams. That gift is FAITH.

Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38 NKJV

Wanna Be A Citizen Of Heaven? Pay The Tax.

The reality is simple: To live in any country you must pay the owners/rulers of that country income tax.

Depending on the country, the tax varies, some are 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% or even more. You can complain all you want about the rates but you must pay, if you don’t like it, you have three options:

1. Avoid paying with the risk of getting caught, then charged, then put in prison.

2. Move countries

3. Stop complaining & just pay anyways

If i’m not mistaken, I believe there is not a single country in the world where you can live and not have to pay tax. The whole idea of tax makes sense anyways, that country that you live in has to be maintained by the people in power, and where else are they going to get the money to keep it maintained?

No one moves to a country that they know is not maintain and ruled in a half decent way, unless your nuts. It’s the people in power responsibility to keep the country on point and to help make sure the citizen are comfortable in the country.

NOW! How many people in this world, claim to be citizens of Heaven/children of God, yet they don’t pay their tax(Tithe) to Him?

“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. Malachi 3:8 NKJV

In the same way that those who are not paying the tax of the country they live in, are robbing the country & are therefore thiefs, those who claim to be Christians but yet they don’t pay their tithe, they are also thiefs.

God said it, not me. God established the idea of tithe from the beginning in Genesis. Those who want to following Him, have to pay their tithe. If you don’t want to following Him, then by all means, you are not obliged to pay the tax.

Interestingly enough, God’s tax is only that of 10%, that aint even a lot. In addition to that, He has a great promise for those who are faithful in their tithe:

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:10-12 NKJV

P.S. For those who say, “We don’t have to Tithe, that’s a part of the old testament.” Have a look what the Lord Jesus said in the new testament:

What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. Matthew 23:23 NLT

Jesus said it, not me =]

Friend or Acquaintance?

When we are younger, I’m sure we all called almost everyone we met our “friend”, then we go through secondary school, college, part time work & various experiences in our lives that help us realise a reality: Not everyone we meet is our friend! Or should I say, not everyone we follow or accept their friend request or add on Instagram or meet in university is our friend.

The majority are just associates or people that are just meant to be in our life for a season. YES or NO? However, social media has definetly helped to blind people to this reality nowadays.

Blinded by their many friends on social network & in real life for celebrities, people have been exposing their secrets, their inner most thoughts, embarrassing people they know & don’t know, portraying a virtual version of themselves & even neglect those who are their true friends, all for the sake of entertaining their so called “friends”.

It’s crazy how nowadays people are investing more & more time in these acquaintances than their friends.

It can be said that it is getting harder to spot who are really our friends, that there is many snakes in the grass and it’s hard to trust anyone. That’s very true, I agree with that, but in my opinion there will always be obvious signs as to who are your real friends and who are just acquaintances.

To name a few, those who tell you the truth even when you don’t want to hear it, those who help out when life hits you hard, that friend that is constantly encouraging you to use your head & not be lead by the hype/facade of the times.

Here’s an example in the bible:

Four friends on one fine day, they decided to take their friend, who was paralyzed on some kind of bed, all the way to a house where a so-called Jesus would be. The fame which preceded Him was that He could heal any disease. Yet on arrival, there was no room for them to even enter the door. Thousands of people crowded the place to hear His words, or at least get a glimpse of His face, or perhaps with a bit of luck touch Him.

The four friends were determined. They couldn’t let their friend down and bring him back without a solution. They couldn’t waste a whole trip. It was now or never. They needed to call Jesus’ attention. Someone had an idea: “the roof.” So they climbed up the house, removed a part of the roof, tied ropes to the bed, and lowered in the man to where Jesus was.

Seeing the faith of those friends, He immediately cured the paralytic. (Read the story in Mark 2.)

That’s what friends are for. Real friends are not just friends on Facebook or “Yes” men/women. Like those four, a friend cares, they lift you up when you’re down, they don’t see obstacles when it’s time to help you, they don’t let you stay down, they stand you up & tell you the truth(something which is so rare in this day and age).

The word “friend” is used very carelessly nowadays, people don’t even know what friendship really means. From the Latin word  “amicitia friendship is a word derived from “love”.

The Lord Jesus in my opinion gave the clearest definition of the characteristic of a true friend:

‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Mark 12:31 NKJV

Are You Anxious For Something Right Now?

Oh we have all been there. Wanting something so much, too much in fact, to the point where you lose all sense of composure and peace because you don’t have it.

But have you realised, anxiety does not get rid of tomorrow’s sadness but it does take away your strength for today, strength which you need to create a solution to stop it.

Anxiety makes you live the problem a hundred times before it actually happens. It makes you fear something that only exists within your imagination.

Due to anxiety some don’t take an action or they hurry to take an action and provoke a disaster. Thankfully there is an antidote to it. The opposite of anxiety is to be chillaxed, composed & hopeful of positive results. In other words, FAITH.

Faith in what or who? In someone who can guarantee a positive result. Jesus once taught about anxiety and said in order to overcome it you have to stop and think. Look at a field or forest and ask yourself: Who nourishes the animals and birds which live there? Who made those beautiful plants, flowers, and butterflies to the tiniest of detail? Who is their gardener, or the one who throws food to them?

What we can conclude is that Someone greater than a human, with infinitely more power, takes care of all of this.

And the good news is that this Someone is our Father. And what father doesn’t know what His son needs?

This is the basis of faith which nulls and overcomes anxiety of the heart. If you are anxious in regards to your love life, family, finances etc…

Stop. Think. Take your mind to God. Talk to him about your fears. Tell him about your fears. Tell him what worries you. And then be quiet. Hear in your most intimate a calm confirmation that He will take care of you.

Once again: Take a deep breathe. Chillax. Think positively. Now allow God to comfort you. He doesn’t fail.
