The Birth Of Sin On Earth || Romans 6 || Part 2

Still meditating on the book of Romans and God reveal something to me.

God is perfect, everything He does, said & created was perfect.

But I did find this: God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path. Ecclesiastes 7:29 NLT

God created Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden perfect. Two human being with an innocent mind & the natural nature of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Self Control, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness & Gentleness – The fruit of the Holy Spirit(Galatians 5:22-23).

But something else was created in the Garden, something that God didn’t create, something that was not perfect.

The devil, already condemn and far from God, came to Eve & suggested she eat the fruit God commanded them not to touch, therefore disobeying God

I’m sure you have hard the phrase “Every action has a reaction”

I’m pretty sure the devil knew, exactly what he was doing when suggested to Eve to disobey God, he knew that if she obeyed him, this act of obedience to his suggestion would have a reaction in the long term.

What was this long term reaction?

The creation of human being with the nature to SIN, the devil’s own nature – Disobedience, pride, lust, lies, uncontrollable anger, hatred, grudges, envy, drunkenness, idolatry, fornication etc… The works of the flesh(Galatians 5:19-21)

It’s almost as if the devil sweet talked Eve into sleeping with him, then she became pregnant with his baby, a baby with the natural desire & nature to sin. This was also born inside of Adam.

Because of this, he has dominion over everyone who has not died spiritually (baptism in water) to their natural desire & nature, because they are his children/slaves.

But if a person chooses to follow the example of the Lord Jesus & his disciple in being baptized, they will be set free from the devil’s slavery; you will no longer be a slave to the wicked & sinful nature of the father of sin, as it is written – For he who has died has been freed from sin. Roman 6:7

Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Roman 6:16 NLT

Note – Why do you think Jesus didn’t obey the devil in the desert when He was tempted by him?

There is power in obedience.

“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,” 1 Samuel 15:22

Think about it now, who are you a child/slave of? God or satan?

That’s enough of my opinion for now…

Here’s Part 1 – Are you a slave or servant?

Posted in It's All By Faith

One day, a woman was walking down the street and, according to her, she saw a terrible scene as she looked in through the window of her pastor’s house.

Imagine: her pastor was running after his wife with a broom. She could hear the wife screaming and running around, and she saw the husband running after her.

There was no doubt: the pastor was beating his wife. The woman spread the news around town. She told everyone she knew, and, because she was still not satisfied, she began telling strangers as well.

Before long the whole town knew about the pastor’s inappropriate attitude.

Due to what happened, the leaders of the church met and took the necessary precautions. They removed the pastor from the ministry and communicated their decision to him. He, very wisely, accepted the decision without saying anything to defend himself. He just made one request: let me do one last farewell meeting this following Sunday, and invite everyone who could attend.

On the chosen day, after a short but uplifting evangelical message, he invited his wife to come up to the pulpit and explain why he was being fired.

She said in a loud and clear voice:

– My husband is being removed from the church because of a Hasty Judgment! I am aware that the decision to remove him was because he hit me. I never complained to anyone about this, and I couldn’t, because what really happened was that while I was cleaning, a mouse appeared and I started running around the room. Because I am afraid of mice, I screamed and ran. My husband saw what was happening, grabbed a broom and began to chase the mouse to kill him.

If this is a good enough reason for my husband to be removed from the church, we will move to another city, if not, I would like the person who spread this lie about my husband hitting me to come up here because we (my husband and I) are ready to forgive the person that made this mistake.

Everyone that was present knew who had spread the rumor, so the woman did not have any other choice but to go up there and ask for forgiveness. Then, the pastor said to her:

– I forgive you, but you will have to do what I am about to ask you, okay? – She replied affirmatively.

Given her response, the pastor presented her with the following instructions:

– I want you to take a feather pillow, go to the top of a hill on a windy day and release all the feathers into the air.

“That’s easy!”, she must have thought. But the pastor continued:

– The following day, go back and collect all the feathers and put the pillow together again, exactly like it was before.

– Oh, pastor, that is impossible! After the wind blows around the feathers I will never be able to gather them together again. – She replied.

– This is exactly what you did with my life! After you spread that rumor, the people of this town will never see me the same way. We will move to another city, but we would like to leave you with this life lesson:

Never judge anyone hastily, and do not spread what cannot be recovered.

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish. Proverbs 18:13 NLT

So then my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, James 1:19 NKJV

Are you a Slave or a Servant? || Romans 6 || Part 1

I came across a passage that I hadn’t read in a long time. Romans 6:1-14 speak of how we are now able to be dead to sin and alive for God.

But the verses that stood out for me was verse 7-9  “For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more, Death no longer has dominion over Him.”

I started to think, then realized why I, before my true conversion & many that are in the church or proclaim to be a Christian or Believer of God have such a hard time living the life God wants us to.

It’s simple; they are a slave to sin.

What is a slave? A person who is the property of and wholly subject to another

I remembered the times before my conversion when sinning was so normal, it was like I was born to sin. Not to sin was very unusual and against my natural nature.

Then every now and again after hearing a message in a church meeting or just using my common sense I would have a desire not to do the sin e.g. not to lie, not to watch the porn, not to disrespect my mum but I had no strength to resist, even though I had free will, it was almost like I was being controlled.

My dear friend, from the time Adam & Eve disobeyed God, they automatically gave the devil dominion over our will & life. The devil became our master, therefore we became his slaves, destined to be controlled, abused, mistreated & eventually die and burn in the lake of fire with him.

But the Lord Jesus came to die on our behalf, to pay the ultimate price of our sin (the Wrath of God), break the chains of sin & to take back the authority over our life.

Therefore giving us the option to either continue as slave of the devil or become a servants of God.What is a servant? A person in the service of another.

“David My servant shall be king over them…” Ezekiel 27:24

“Moses My servant is dead…” Joshua 1:2

“But My servant Caleb…” Numbers 14:24

“If you will not listen to Me, to walk in My law which I have set before you, to heed the words of My servants the prophets whom I sent to you…” Jeremiah 26:4-5

The death that Apostle Paul is talking about in this verse is repentance; symbolized by baptism in water. If we decide to kill off the flesh, to be rid of its wicked ways & desire, and accept the invitation to be a servant of God, we will no longer be slaves of sin & ultimately no longer be destined to spend eternity with the creator of sin, the devil.

It’s so deep that I believe that through our free will, we are either doing the will of either God or the devil.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:17 NKJV

Think about it now, who are you a child of, God or satan?

That’s enough of my opinion for now…

Body + Smile + Personality || Advice For Women

I realized a mistake in the picture, in the 2nd sentence they put “make” twice LOL I bet you didn’t realize that 😉

Anyways, this quote is definetly TRUE in my opinion

Women nowadays get caught up in the social convention of striving to have a sexy body for attention & money – The wrong attention in fact, the attention of perverts, womanizers & rapists. All to fill a void deep inside…

They neglect the true beauty which is inside. These women need to realize that they were created the way they are for a purpose – I do not believe this purpose was to be seen as an object of lust by millions.

Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

1 Peter 3:3-4 NLT

This inner beauty will attract respect & good attention. And help you to avoid heartbreak, bad attention & disappointments.

Does this mean you shouldn’t strive to look excellent on the outside? Come on let’s not be fanatical and over religious, of course you should look good ladies but realize that you need to have a balance, self discipline & maturity in how you portray yourself.

Learn to value & love yourself Ladies, invest more on the inner attributes that will last through time such as your character, patience, humility, mentality, attitude etc…

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.

Proverbs 31:30 NLT

In my opinion, whatever shape or size, colour & nationality you are; only God can teach you how to love & value yourself!

If not, then women all over the world would’t be restless over fitting in, all they would need is one surgery and that would solve the insecurity, right?

That’s enough of my opinion for now…

IGNORANCE – It Blinds Us

A ‘wise’ man challenged everyone to ask him any question about Christian faith. One day, while speaking to a small audience, a humble man was willing to debate the subject with the wise man. The wise man opened the floor by saying, “Answer my questions!”

The humble man took an orange, slowly peeled it and began eating it. Then, he turned to the ‘wise’ man and said: “I’m ready to talk.”

With a wry smile, the wise man said: “Finally! Come on! Let’s talk… what do you have to say in response to my thoughts against the Christian faith?”

The man asked him: “Was the orange that I just ate sour or sweet?”

There was total silence, followed by a huge chuckle. Everyone laughed!

But the ‘wise’ man laughed the loudest. He said: “You were the one who ate the orange… You’re the one that should know if it is sour or sweet!”

“One moment, take it easy… If I’m the one that ate the orange, I’m the only one that knows if it is sour or sweet. This speaks in my favor and in favor of my Christian faith. Before, my life was one way. Then I met the Lord Jesus Christ and I was transformed. A true miracle! So, as you can see, I tasted the orange of Salvation and I know it is sweet, very sweet. The truth is that you are the foolish one, talking about something you do not know. If you have never experienced Christian faith, how can you know what it tastes like?”

The ‘wise’ man remained quiet. The following verse was fulfilled in this story:

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.” 1 Corinthians 1.27

For The Proud In Spirit, Self Righteous & Self Wise

Are you sometimes proud, wise in your own opinion or self righteous? or maybe all the time?

Well first of all if you are, you wouldn’t admit it would ya AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anyways, maybe you know someone who is like this?

Let them know this:
Do not be overly righteous, Nor be overly wise: Why should you destroy yourself?
Ecclesiastes 7:16
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Proverbs 26:12
To be wise in your own eyes means to think you’re incapable of making mistakes, above reprehension, and know all the solutions to every problem – including yours and others.
Note: The devil fell from grace because of  his pride. Ezekiel 28
Now there are 2 cures for the proud, cocky, arrogant, overly wise & righteous people: Humility or Humiliation
The second usually comes after you refuse to adopt the first. Humility is a choice. You can learn how to be humble and practice being humble. On the other hand, humiliation is not a choice but a consequence. It eventually happens to the proud as a result of their actions.
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled; the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down. Isaiah 2:11
Let them choose their fate
That’s enough of my opinion for now…..
