Why do people choose to follow the path, even though it leads to failure?

When we compliment, encourage or motive someone, we will make them feel a great amount of joy and determination.

Try this strategy instead of complaining, criticizing, attacking and pointing out mistakes all the time. But don’t just do this once. Decide to do this always and adopt it as a new behaviour.

How Important Is Water, Physically & Spiritually?

YO, YO YO! =D Sorry I haven’t posted in a week. I have been really busy with uni work, it’s my final year (YEAHYA)

Have you ever sat down and thought to yourself how important water is to your existence? Water might be everywhere, but a lot of the time, we take it for granted. I mean can the human body survive a day or two without water?

Well for your information, water makes up more than two thirds of human body weight, and without water, we would die in a few days. That’s right, YOU WILL DIE!

Water is vital to the functionality of the human body. The body cannot work without it, just as a car cannot run without petrol or electricity for the latest hybrid cars.

Some of the important things that water provides for us are:

(i) It serves as a lubricant to the digestion, joints & cartilage. (ii) Water regulates our body temperature. (iii) Water removes harmful toxins from the body in different ways e.g. urination and perspiration. (viii) Water transports valuable nutrients to the body.

Clearly, drinking water is essential to our survival as it provide so many essential benefits to our body. But how many of us know people or are guilty ourselves of not providing our body with it’s daily dose of water? Not just in the physical sense but spiritually as well?

Just like how water is so important to the physical body, the spiritual water that is the Word of God (the Bible) is vital to the survival of anyone who proclaims or wants to be a practicing Christian.

Some of the important things the Bible provides our soul with are:

(i) It reminds us of the truth that is the Lord Jesus & how significant His sacrifice is for our lives. (ii) It corrects us when we are in the wrong. (iii) It lifts us up & motivates us when we are down. (viii) It direct us when we are lost. (v) It cleanses us from the toxin that harm our soul e.g. doubts, fear, negative words against us, anxiety, pride, malice, grudges & all types of sin.

These benefits of reading the Bible are true, I for one know how I feel when I haven’t read my bible in a few days, my soul cries out for me to quench its thirst & overall spiritually I am more vulnerable to attack of the devil. Without the Word of God, any believer in the Lord Jesus will for sure die spiritually. Especially when our soul is being forced to drink the the toxin of this world that are lies, negative words, pornography etc…

Note – The quality of the water should be just as important as the quantity. Therefore, your drinking water should always be clean and free of contaminants to ensure proper health and wellness. Spiritually speaking, listen to words that will benefit you positively, keep yourself around people who speak and act positively & read things that will feed & strengthen your soul.

MUSCLEMANIA #4 || Same Tools; Different Goals

Bodybuilders, Powerlifters, Weightlifters and Fitness Freaks all use the same tool, Weights and Resistance Machines, but we all have different goals.

Bodybuilders – They use progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one’s musculature, there sport in competitive amateur and professional bodybuilding appear in lineups doing specified poses, and later perform individual posing routines, for a panel of judges who rank competitors based on criteria such as symmetry, muscularity, and conditioning.

Bodybuilders are not too concerned about the weight they are lifting, their main goal is to contract and stretch the muscle in order to grow. Bodybuilder need TIME UNDER TENSION, Good Form, Reps, Pump the muscles full of blood, a clean diet etc… Bodybuilders are strong but not as strong as Weightlifters & Powerlifters.

Weightlifters – They are athletes who attempts a maximum-weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates which are called the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Properly executed, the snatch and the clean and jerk are both dynamic and explosive while appearing graceful, especially when viewed from a recording at a slowed speed.

In comparison with other strength sports, which test limit strength (with or without lifting aids), weightlifting tests aspects of human ballistic limits (explosive strength) and are therefore executed faster—and with more mobility and a greater range of motion during their execution – than other lifts.

Powerlifters – They are all about building strength, there sport consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. They are the guys you see in the gym lifting monstrous weights, they are not concerned about looking good like bodybuilders, their sole aim is to be stronger then the next man.  Supportive equipment is used to increase the weight lifted in powerlifting exercises and they aim for less reps than bodybuilders.

Those who want to become professionals aspire to be in Strongman competitions, this is a sport which tests competitors’ strength in a variety of different ways.

Fitness Freaks – They are athletes who want to do a bit of everything. Any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness. It is performed for various reasons including strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance, as well as for the purpose of enjoyment.

The general look for a fitness freaks varies, you have some who are lean(Ectomorph), some are muscular(Mesomorph) and some are big(Endomorph).

When you enter the gym, you must know what your there to achieve. Don’t waste time lifting monstrous weights when your main goal is to become super fit, in addition to that, don’t waste your time doing cardio exercises and lifting light weights when you want to build a muscular body. Make sure you do your research before making a workout for yourself.
