Every sin is a sin. Large, medium or small, it does not matter, you are subject to be condemned for eternity.
For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6.23 NKJV
However, some sins are so subtle that you might not even notice them.
Here is a perfect example of what i’m saying:
Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God… (blah-blah-blah…)
What do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? (trying to catch Jesus out) Matthew 22.16,17 NKJV
First the praise; then the poison. Malice is the kind of sin that kills little by little. As long as a person nourishes any malicious intentions, he or she will never be able to call the attention of God; they will be stuck & very frustrated. Their prayers will hit the ceiling and fall back down.
What good is it to be faithful with tithes & offering but you have a malicious heart? Is it possible for the malicious to be visited by God? Is it possible for their prayers to be heard by God?
Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. John 9:31 NKJV
This has been one of the biggest OBSTACLES in the lives of many religious people; they see everything with bad eyes. They look at the pastor with malice, they look at the offering with malice, they look at the voluntary helpers and other members with malice. The following is Jesus’ advice for these people:
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body is full of darkness. Luke 11.34 NKJV
