I have noticed…
When a Christian chooses to come out of their comfort zone in regards to spreading the Gospel, when they choose to state their faith in conquering something great & when they choose to be different and do what others would not probably do in serving God, their biggest critics are not usually the unbelievers, but the believers…
Isn’t that strange?
You would think that they will be encouraged by the believers but instead, sometimes, they get told discouraging words.
I have experienced this before a few times.
Jesus experienced it
John the baptist experienced it
King David experienced it
The Apostles experienced it
When this happens to me i just remember this verse, as a simple explanation:
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men. Matthew 16:23 NKJV
When a person is not in spirit and mindful of the things of God, either because they are not well spiritually, they are far from God & they don’t realize it, they are proud, they consider themselves wise & righteous or simple because of a moment of not being in faith but in emotion, that is when the devil can manifest himself through them, just as he did with Peter.
The devil can manifest himself through even the most holy people on earth to discourage, criticize, judge & even worst murder someone spiritually.
BE CAREFUL MY FRIENDS
Emotions can really mess up your faith & others. I always say that the heart is the devil’s headquarters, as when we try and mix it with our faith or act on impulse, it only brings disaster.
The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? Jeremiah 17:9 NLT
Watch what you say because not everyone is firm in their faith like Jesus to rebuke the negative & discouraging word & move on.
Some believers even give up on the idea that God inspired them to put into action to bless their life or save souls, simply because a believers discouraged them
WORDS CAN KILL
The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. Proverbs 18:21 NLT
But they can also bring encouragement, strength & satisfaction
Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. Proverbs 18:20 NLT
Be wise & mindful of the things of God before you speak
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19
Remember: If you can dream it, you can achieve it
That’s all for now…
